Hi. I’m Matt Mroz.
I work in operations, and I spend a lot of time thinking about how work actually gets done.
I’m interested in the small things: unnecessary steps, strange incentives, workarounds, outdated rules, and the questions that help us see a system differently.
The interesting part is usually the gap between how work was designed, and how people actually do it.
That’s what I write about in The Operating Dossier.
